When The Orient Express exhibition opened in Singapore last December, it really brought back memories of our time on the Eastern & Oriental Express. In this exhibition, you'll get to experience the original train carriages from more than 100 years ago. The attraction also includes a pop-up gastronomic restaurant, complete with a menu curated by double three Michelin- starred chef, Yannick Alléno.
Dan and I got invited back to The Orient Express where we got to experience an intimate dining experience in the replica Anatolia dining car. The dishes served were a mix between savoury and sweet dishes expertly executed with a modern French flair, by double three Michelin- starred chef, Yannick Alléno. The taste of the dishes are made to transport you through Italy, Venice and Iran. We had a delectable assortment of desserts after our mains, and it was a sweet finish to our memorable 2 hours in the dining car. We bid our goodbyes to Chef Yannick Alléno and thanked him for such a delightful afternoon.
