HOME QUARANTINE DATE IDEAS

How crazy it is that in my last post I was talking about traveling on a fancy train across Southeast Asia, and now the whole world is facing a pandemic and we are all staying home. There are still so many romantic things you can do when you're home, so here are some ideas you can have fun with while you #StayHome.

BUILD A BLANKET FORT

It was our first time building a blanket fort and we felt like kids all over again.
To be honest, if my Dad didn't help with the setting up I think we would be stuck building it all night or the fort might just fall over us while we were sleeping. We added fairy lights, lots of pillows and throws for a cozy touch, got some popcorn and ice cream and watched Disney movies all night.

MAKE A PICTURE WALL

Since traveling is out of the question for now, why not bring the world to your bedroom right? It was so fun printing out our favourite travel images and pasting them all up on our bedroom wall. You can even save them off Pinterest and print your favourite pictures and quotes!

WHIP UP A BREAKFAST IN BED
Now that we're all working from home, there's no excuse to miss breakfast anymore! All that travel time can now be converted to kitchen time. I think we all deserve a yummy breakfast on mornings without Zoom meetings, don't you agree? Dan and I have been making so much pancakes and French toasts lately, that we may just have perfected the technique for fluffy pancakes. Do this on weekdays before work or save it for the weekends!

HAVE A PAMPER SESH

Don't we all just love a day where we can pamper ourselves silly with hot baths and face masks? I went through my drawer of body scrubs and face masks and took them all out. I mean let's be honest, we all have products that we buy but never use.. so hey, now's the perfect time to use them to your heart's content!

GET CREATIVE

Doesn't matter if you can't draw or paint, Dan and I dug out our college art materials and just had fun with them! We ended up playing Pictionary and it was really enjoyable. You could even get creative with old white tees, use fabric paint to give your tee a new look, or you could even take it a step further and tie-dye them.

With that, you have 5 brand new ideas on #StayHomeDates! While it's definitely a weird time for the world right now, I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy. Remember that we're all in this together! Take care and be safe.

Love,
Amelyn
