A FRESH START

Hey my loves, I hope you guys had an amazing start to 2017! ✨ Dan and I have been busy planning this year's travels and I'm so excited to announce that we've locked down 4 countries so far! (whee hoo)

CHRISTMAS EMERALD

Merry Christmas everyone! I've had an amazing time with my loved ones, and I hope you guys did too! In true holiday spirit, I've recreated last year's look. No doubt, I'd go for a silk piece this time. Don't you just think that emerald green and gunmetal grey go so well together? That explains last year's color palette choice too.

COZY IN CASHMERE

Don't you just love being in your coziest sweater to laze around in, on a December morning? Waking up, making tea, finishing up that chapter from the night before and wrapping presents for Christmas, all in the comfort of your favorite cashmere piece. I mean, I could stay in this all day if it was sweater weather. This may not be a Christmas sweater but it makes a great Christmas present to your loved ones, and yes they have men's sizes too. #cozycouple or #cashmereforchristmas maybe?

THE ROSE SILK SLIP

As you guys know, I've been on a blush pink streak recently and when you dress in blush pink from head to toe – you definitely have an obsession. Also, when you own a dress in 2 colors, it's without a doubt an essential (not even guilty). It's finally the best month of the year, the air is cooler which makes it the perfect time to layer up.

Still my favourite quote of all time from the Disney classic – Peter Pan. There is just something about stars that make you feel in love; make you dreamy; make you feel that touch of magic and that is exactly how I feel when I had this dress on.

THINK PINK: THE SILK ROBE

It has always been all things blush and silk, wearing this color palette all year round and I still can't get enough of it. One of my favourite casual combos yet, and what's better when the location matches your outfit. This is my first ever silk robe and L'Academie has definitely aced it with the perfect robe. Completely obsessed with everything about it. I love how it's the ideal travel piece, comfortable yet a statement. Funny how it also reminds me of lazy mornings in a loft, dancing and twirling away to La Vie En Rose on the vinyl player..

BACK TO BASICS.

Hey angels, I'm back after a seemingly productive break. I've been working on certain projects, one of which that will (finally) be revealed by the end of the year. I'm really excited for it to be done, can't wait for you guys to see what I've been working on!

RED IN THE WOODS

They say red is the representation of love, the color that exudes confidence, and the seal for kisses. Every girl needs a little red hood dress in their life. The one dress for a perfect Sunday, for a date night and for a #Girlboss. I fell in love with the intricate lace detailing of this shift dress from Lovers + Friends the moment I laid my hands on it. I threw this on, ready for a long romantic stroll with the love of my life. What's your power dress?

AUTUMN WITH URBAN OUTFITTERS

The year end has always been my favourite time and it was like Christmas morning when I unwrapped the giant box Urban Outfitters sent to me. I'm not one to wear orange but I fell in love with this dusty bodysuit. I mean, what better way to welcome November by adding some orange hues into my usual color palette.

Hands down the most comfortable pair of heels I've ever owned! It's sooo soft, I wish you can feel it through the screen. The nude goes so well with an all white outfit, my favourite color combo right now. This pair of heels will be in my must-pack list to every travel destination from now onwards, yes that's how comfortable it is. Believe me, you've got to try it for yourself and your world will change. *wink

THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS

If I had to choose between a LBD and a LWD, it would definitely be a little white dress - no questions asked. I've been on the hunt for the perfect LWD that's not formal or filled with lace, and this dress from FASHMOB just tops the chart. Casual or smart, it works both ways and it has pockets! Like come on. I brought this dress to Vietnam and it was perfect for the bicycle rides around the resort. I cannot emphasise how much love I have for this dress, its unreal. If you guys are interested in the places I went to in Vietnam, I heard ya! A full post on what I did and where I stayed will be up this coming midweek!

As you can tell, I've been adding more red tones into my color palette lately. It's just something about resort holidays and bright colors that just go so well together. BLUSH BABY

I'm still on the hunt for the perfect Levi's 501 vintage jeans, but I guess this pair that I have now works just as well. Always ask yourself if you're able to match a piece of clothing more than 5 different ways before you purchase it! When I saw this pair of mom jeans, I knew I had to get it. It's in the perfect wash and I love how the edges are raw. You can either fold them up or leave them down - here's another look where I left them down. If there ever was a color palette to stick to for the rest of my life, it's going to be a blush/white/denim combo. And no, I'll never get over my obsession with blush and rose gold, nuff said. 

THE SLIP DRESS

After wearing this silk slip dress out in the insane Singapore heat, I'm actually thinking of converting my wardrobe to silk-everything. What they say about silk is true - warm in winter, cool in summer. And well, we all know that Singapore is practically summer all year round. Every piece in GRANA's silk collection is basically #goals. I would actually own every color of the slip dress if I could, especially this.

EVENING GLOW

I've been on a off the shoulder and stripes streak recently. This dress came with the combo and how could I have said no. Plus points for pockets too! I don't know about you but I get really excited when I find out that there are pockets hidden somewhere in a garment. But yes, I wore this dress on a bicycle date with Dan. We have been cycling a lot recently and it really does take our minds off things. Bicycle dates are one of our favourites, what's yours?

TRAVEL MUST-HAVES - SUMMER EDITION

If you've been following my journey on Instagram, you would have known that I've just returned from the amazing and beautiful Cebu, Philippines! I would say Philippines just made it to my top 5 favourite to-visit countries list. We explored 5 islands while we were there and mind you, there are a total of 7,107 islands in Philippines. A visual diary of the trip will be up soon, stay close for that!

ONE-PIECE WONDER

And, I'm back with another romper look! I for one think that rompers should be on everyone's wardrobe staple list, they're effortless as it is. Just one piece and you're good to go, if you prefer a more completed look, simply throw on an outerwear or a hat!

THE MOM JEANS

Well, it's sad to say that boyfriend jeans are not very flattering on me. I've searched high and low, only to find myself disappointed. But when mom jeans came back, who needs boyfriend jeans? I've grown to love them so much and its funny how I was not a big fan of jeans 2 years ago. To say that I am in love with the uniqueness of this very pair would be an understatement. The uneven raw hem detailing and the centred seams screams l o v e.

TOP KNOT

Turned my second-day hair into a top knot to solve the bad hair day disaster. California feels like home every time I return, 6th time now and the vibes are still the same. I guess it will never change as family's here. I would say this is a go-to outfit when you're just having one of those days, where there is just 'nothing to wear'.
